Simple Timeline Maker respects your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect and how we use it.

Simple Timeline Maker is operated by Michael Newton, trading as BlueHammyCo, a sole trader based in England.

Timeline data (free tier)

When you use the timeline maker without an account, your timeline data is stored locally in your browser. We do not receive or store your timeline content on our servers.

Accounts and cloud timelines (Premium)

If you sign in and use Premium cloud save, we store your email address and saved timeline documents on our database so you can reopen them later. Sign-in uses a magic link sent to your email — we do not store passwords.

Payments

Premium purchases are processed by Stripe. We do not store your card details. Stripe provides us with your email, payment status, and a customer reference so we can activate Premium on your account.

Analytics

We use PostHog and Vercel Web Analytics to understand how the product is used — for example, page views, exports completed, or styles selected. We may also use Plausible if enabled. Analytics does not include your timeline content.

Feature requests

If you submit a feature request, your suggestion is sent by email. We do not store feature requests on our servers.
